Malcolm Stephen & Sons has donated six thousand dollars ($ 6, 000) to the Education Trust Fund.
Representatives of the company made the donation to Chairman of the Education Trust Fund Willie Fevrier during a brief ceremony at the Education, Science and Technology Building on Thursday.
Fevrier said the donation would be used to assist parents who are experiencing difficulty obtaining textbooks and paying secondary school registration and transportation fees.
Malcolm Stephen & Sons is a regular contributor to the Education Trust Fund. The company says it plans to continue this commitment to the Fund.
The Education Trust Fund was established in 1981 through an act of parliament, to assist students experiencing difficulty attending secondary school.
